Direct Access Endoscopy

At GastroNorth we work closely with your Primary Health Care provider.

We offer a high quality direct access Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy service.

After a discussion with your doctor, they may directly refer you to GastroNorth for an endoscopy procedure, without a prior consultation with one of our gastroenterologists. However, some may be advised to see our specialists for individualised advice prior to their procedure. This advice may relate to the management of medication, bowel preparation type or other concerns.

If you are on blood thinning medication, have diabetes, troublesome constipation, kidney problems, liver cirrhosis or heart failure, please advise our staff when booking.

The referral from your doctor needs to be received before we are able to make a booking for you.
