Patient FAQs

Do you participate in the gap cover scheme?

Yes, we do. Please contact our rooms for specific information on fees for our various services.

How long do I have to wait for an appointment?

We have a team of highly qualified gastroenterologists which enables us to offer you short wait times. Generally, for a consultation, the wait time is 1-2 weeks for an appointment, depending on the location you choose. For a procedure (colonoscopy, gastroscopy) the wait time is 2-3 weeks.

What do I need to bring to a consultation appointment?

Please bring your Medicare card, private health insurance details and a list of medications you are currently taking. If you are a new patient, please also bring a hard copy of your referral.

Do I need a referral to see a gastroenterologist?

Yes, you will need a current referral from your doctor, which can be faxed or emailed to us. We need to have the referral before we make an appointment for you.
